Lenovo ThinkPad W700ds, The Dual Screen Notebook

If there’s one computer I want to try in this new year, it’s the Lenovo ThinkPad W700ds which is the first notebook to support two LCD screens. This laptop can be powered by Intel Core 2 Extreme or Core 2 Quad processor. It also comes with 8GB RAM, 980GB hard drive and 2 hours of battery life. Pretty good for racing games.

3G Touch Watch Phone From LG, Dick Tracy’s Technology

Dick Tracy and probably his adversaries, will love this 3G Touch Watch Phone from LG Electronics (model: LG-GD910) as this 13.9mm-thick watch is more than just a regular timepiece.

For instance, you can make video calls from this tiny watch which supports 7.2Mbps HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) network and Bluetooth connectivity. A built-in camera allows people at the other end to see you for real.

The waterproof, 1.43-inch touch display watch also has MP3 playback and text-to-speech (TTS) functions. We’ll see this baby at CES 2009.

BGP100 Bluetooth Gamepad, D-Pad Gaming For Your Cell Phone

My Nokia N95 has served me well for calling, messaging, photo-taking and the occasional MP3-playing but erm, not for gaming. Probably I’m lacking a gamepad for the cell phone to entice me to play games on the small screen (the number pad just don’t work as well as a normal D-pad).

In any case, the BGP100 Bluetooth gamepad wishes to address my grievances. This mobile phone gaming controller supports quite a number of smartphone platforms such as Windows Mobile, PocketPC and Symbian. The twisted design allows for any phone that doesn’t exceed 55mm.

The gamepad needs only an AAA battery and going for 88 bucks.
